The company specializes in Tax, Trust and Estate Services for people with disabilities and their families. We work closely with the disability community to facilitate tax credit related information.
Job Description:
This full-time position requires the individual to interact with people with a disability and/or the family members of a person with a disability either over the phone, in person and/or through email. The purpose of this position is to communicate information on available federal and provincial disability related tax benefits and credits to our clients, and to pre-qualify each client for their eligibility to apply for the available tax credits.
The Client Administrator will:
1) Communicate with potential clients via phone call, in person and/or through email;
2) Gather background information on each potential client’s disability and tax information;
3) Pre-qualify each client on their eligibility to apply for availably tax credits/benefits; and
4) Do data entry work and prepare all required documents to be mailed out to clients and their medical practitioners.
Job Requirements:
The ideal individual for this position MUST be patient and be comfortable working with people with disability.
The ideal candidate for this position should be:
1) Fluent in English
and French (reading, writing and speaking);
2) Able to work under pressure, work independently and work in a team;
3) Flexible and be able to prioritize work;
4) Familiar with MS Words and Excel Spreadsheets;
5) Able to type a minimum of 60 WPM; and
6) Open to change.
