My wife's monthly contract with Telus has just expired. She doesn't use her phone much so she wants to switch to Fido pay-as-you-go but wants to keep her number. Fido said they only keep the number if you switch to a monthly plan, if you switch to pay-as-you-go they assign a new number. Anybody know if she can switch to a no-contract Fido monthly plan for 1 month (to keep her number), then downgrade to a pay-as-you-go? Thanks in advance.
