My work is hiring Network/System Engineer

Novus Entertainment Inc. a local Isp and cable tv provider is currently seeking a entry level network/system engineer. Be involved in leading edge internet and tv technology company. Working in a fast paced atmosphere where you will be exposed to a wide variety of experience in many different technologies.
Responsibilities:
• Execute automated and manual tests on a wide variety of software and hardware products
• Maintenance of internal IT infrastructures
• Maintenance of Router and Switching equipment
• Assist in development Java , JQuery, php and mysql systems
• Setup and development of linux servers and internet services
• Setup, develop and integrate live/vod streaming and encoding servers
• Field configuration, deployment and troubleshooting of internet infrastructure

Required Skills and Experience:
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent
• Working understanding of core technologies of Windows, Unix and Linux
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Experience in Php, Mysql, Java, Xml and scripting programming languages
• Experience working on simultaneous projects spanning different domains
• Experience with switching and routing products.

Assets:
• Experience with encoding and streaming servers. Ex. Adobe, Helix, Wowza, Darwin, Ffmpeg, Microsoft Media Services.
• Networking knowledge. Ex: Cisco, Extreme, Ericsson
• Experience is Php, Mysql, Soap.
• Knowledge in Vmware and Netapp storage environments
