Roman's Auto Repair in Burnaby, just down the block from ak autoworks on dawson st.
I know the guy personally, just runs his own shop... good/honest mechanic.
Takeshi @ Taiyo Auto, also on Dawson. Great guy to deal with and prices are very reasonable.

I recommend my mechanic at Gold Wrench Automotives.
The shop is located in North Vancouver (sorry its not in burnaby), but fairly close on the highway.
Just giving this recommendation because he's very honest, goes great work, for a more than fair rate.

I go to Alpha 1 Automotive. Danny keeps his shop nice and tidy and does good work. https://www.facebook.com/alpha1automotive/

Bayon Automotive in Burnaby, i been going to Walter for 8 years,he will tell you straight up, "you don't brakes, they're good for another year, you don't need coolant, it's fine." He has enough loyal customers he doesn't need to waste time doing redundant work. Also, he has the best rates for Liqui Moly full synthetic 5W-40 in the entire province. $50 including tax for 5L ! Lowest rates for oil changes too, and he won't mark up things like filter, whatever he got it for, he will charge.

I used to get it for that at Alpha 1 but not anymore. Will check out Bayon!
