who goes?

was thinking about starting going cause all this rain for the past 6 months kinda makes me miss the sun/warmth haha.

my question is...does fake n bakin' still give vitamin D to the body?

since ive never gone there before, how long do you stay in there for at a time?

Yes it still gives you Vitamin D and how long you go in for depends on your skin and your ability to tan. No matter what your skin your going to get told you can only go for around 8 minutes your first session. This is normal and until you know how your tanning goes and the strength of the bulbs (they differ from bed to bed and salon to salon) you should always start with a low time and work up from there. Personally I don't think the price you pay for the Specialty Indoor Tanning Lotions are worth it (unless you get them in the states because they are super cheap down there) so don't let them upsell you on lotions.

Berz out.

Generally if you are over 50, your body's ability to synthesize vitamin D is greatly reduced and your diet is considered the sole source of vitamin D.
Hence many organizations suggest increasing vitamin D intake when you get older
