I am going out on Saturday at around 1pm for lunch, I wouldnt mind trying a new place. I was thinking Sandbar but open to suggestions. I am going with a female friend so no beer drinking sports bar feel. Thats later for UFC lol.
Let me know of some good spots that are reasonable in price. Not into any Asian food this time around.

All suggestions are appreciated.

Bridges is a joke for what they charge for their food, i have no problem paying a little above normal prices but what they charge for food that is worse than your typical earls, cactus, etc. is a joke

If you're into more adventurous cuisine, I recommend Gaia Bistro. Good mediterranean food at reasonable prices. Moroccan style chicken and the Turkish apple tea are some good choices.

A true gem in the heart of Kerrisdale.

That's nowhere NEAR Granville Island LOL!...

I'm not sure if they are open for lunch but Afghan Horsemen has some very good food and romantic chill atmosphere.
