I went there (same one in the video) in 2009, with 3 friends (2 Chinese, 1 Indian). Of course the waitress zeroes in on my brown friend. Their convo went something like this:

Girl: (horrible accident) Hey you, wassup?

It was hilarious, and total culture fail. :lol

The worst was when the announcer went (crappy accent again) "Okay girls, it's Showtime!" Of the 6 or so girls dancing, only 2 actually knew the moves. The other 4 were just watching + following in a half-assed way. It was actually pretty lame but we couldn't stop staring. It was like a train wreck. Too bad RS doesn't have a decent way to host vids or I'd throw one up.

Oh, and the beers are waaay overpriced. 100rmb (about $16CAD) per pitcher if I remember correctly.

How many Hard Rock Cafes are there around the world? Vietnam just got one in Saigon and they are planning on opening 2 or 3 more in the near future around the country. It is probably safe to assume that the guy who opened the hooters in China did a bit of research before opening.

You just argued against your point when you described the McD in China. They created a menu that fit with the culture. Same as they do in India, Thailand, etc...

Look again at the Video and see who is inside the restaurant. I think you can get an idea of who the clientele is.
