Love this show. The black teacher gradded from the same high school as me. He always talked about being an actor. Glad to see that he made it.

I KNEW I recognized parts of Vancouver in the outdoor scenes...mostly because it was raining and it looked so familiar. LOL...it's supposed to be Seattle...why not just film in Seattle?
AMAZING series so far. It's exciting and intriguing without being sensational. It feels very real...filmed beautifully but not..."stylishly". The characters feel authentic...like real, normal people.
My only problems? The female cop repeating "I'm not staying." every 10 minutes. I'm also a little afraid that not enough is happening but even though it's a little slow, the tone and pace works so well together. The score too.
Ever since shows like The Sopranos, The Wire, etc ended on HBO, they've fallen behind AMC in terms of top notch programing. AMC has pretty much all the best shows on TV now with Mad Men, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead and now this.

I think the best thing about the show is that there's no way to see what's coming. There's so many subplots, possible deception from everyone, all kinds of small clues everywhere.
There are shots everywhere that I'm sure the director is trying to imply matters to the overall plot like they're just teasing us with it. I knew from the second the way the teacher taking the punk's phone was shot that the phone would be significant in some way down the line and...sure enough...
I don't think skater douche and rich prick are the killers. Something has me thinking it's too early in the series to reveal the murderer.
BTW, I like how rich prick's dad slapped the piss out of his pinner son.

so far i only find it mehh..but it does feel quite realistic. I find the main characters kind of flat...i feel like the support cast, mainly the grieving family is what's keeping me interested.
and i think they are overexaggerating the rain lol...and this being a crime thriller with somewhat of a film noir approach reminds me of the game heavy rain

The teacher is the new suspect :O
Seeing the inside of Van Tech brings back some memories.

It won't be the teacher.
Too obvious.
Linden's son is the killer.

this show just ain't doing it for me...but that ending to the last episode was pretty shocking.
I also find the political debacle really boring.
I'm getting pretty tired of the mom's guilt trips.
So yesterday was the last episode. So who killed Rosie?

How can a show that moves this slow be this exciting?
Jack Bauer would've got all this information in an episode and a half.
Tonight's episode is a good example. Exciting but not a DAMN THING happened with the main plot.
I think AMC is just looking at Mad Men and taking episode ideas now. This is pretty much the episode where Don and Peggy work late at the office except taken even more extreme. No one else says more than a line or two except Linden and Holder.
So much explained about the two main characters background.

The killer has been revealed!
CAN'T WAIT FOR THE FINALE!

SHIT IS ALL UP IN THE FAN
We don't know if he's the killer. If anything, I'm guessing TOO SOON JUNIOR!
If you look at the show's website, there's a "suspect tracker". The fact that it fluctuates so much week to week just shows how good the writing for this show really is.
THIS IS SO EXCITING
Cool, I saw Mr. Bennett, the black muslim teacher from the show at Grouse moutain this weekend. He was alone taking a jog on the mountain. I said "HI MR. BENNETT" as I drove by and he gave me a modest wave rofl.
Good looking guy, no homo.

MIND BLOWN .. WTF man.
sick season/series finale!! it was pretty obvious that holder's character was involved in something. he was having those secretive meetings in the car every few episodes. whether or not he was the killer is up to the viewer to decide. i think that the mayor still mightve been the one to kill rosie and holder just couldve fabricated the evidence.

Next person to not use spoiler tags gets 2 months.
AND WHAT THE FUCK KIND OF ENDING WAS THAT!? FUCK YOU, AMC...
now I'm going to be wondering who the fucking killer is for a year.
The show was renewed on June 13th for a second, 13-episode season, according to Wikipedia.

I'm relieved to see Holder isn't crooked like we were led to believe.
Richmond, wow. This is a great example of why police don't comment on ongoing investigations, to avoid guys like Richmond or Bennet getting wrongly attacked.
Linden's new Lt. looks like a total asshole.

Anyone watching this show? Season 3 just started
Yea, just finished it. I'm glad it's back. It's great to see how much Holder has grown. He has some of the best lines.
I wonder how they're going to fit Linden into the investigation? I can't figure out how they're going to pair her and Holder up in any sort of plausible way.
