went to dollar giant the other day and picked up a couple monster xpresso energy drinks for a dollar each! what a deal, these things usually go for liek $3/can at a convenience store.
weird thing happened though. i didn't notice the bits of black rice till i drank the whole thing. i guess they could be tiny raisins or shriveled coffee beans to add natural flavoring. jk they're clean, they only taste mostly like a milked-down version of starbucks double shot espresso, with a hint of rat piss.

Do they have the regular (green) and lo-carb (blue) one?
is this at any dollar giant or only certain ones?
If I recall, some dollar giants I've been at don't even sell energy drinks.
btw, there's a brand called KnockOut Energy drink... being sold for $1.
Cause the company prints 99cents right on the can (like those arizona drinks)
so retailers can't sell them for more than $1. But I don't think they are sold in Canada,
or I would load up on them.

no only xpresso (at the fraser dollar giant at least)
it doesnt taste that awful if you dont mind the hint of rat piss. i added a bit of milk to mine and it was pretty decent. gave me a buzz, got my day going. will be back to pick up a case or two

Watch out! make sure it's real. Dollar giant is known for making shampoos and other products look almost the same as the real thing.

There's green ones on Commerical and Broadway location the last check i went there. They also look smaller than the usual ones but hey cant really beat $1 right?

Yes im surprised they're so popular. Maybe once in a blue moon if you're working double shift or something. They give a nasty hangover.
