I think it's truly sad to see this happen. It's great how everyone has phone and video to record evidence but in a way, you are right, the first thing people do is to film that shit.

We should remind ourselves how blessed we are living in societies / communities / areas where we learn / taught to accept people for whoever they are. Without mentioning any specific places, discriminations still occurs and situation like this happens way way way too often that we don't knwo about.

Love how the first few comments are mostly slagging the employees for not stepping in, until this voice of reason:
And the manager did everything he could. He put himself in the way physically and kept yelling "stop! stop!" He had called the police already, and they were on their way. What do you want from him, for him to throw himself into the fray and throw punches? He's not allowed to do that. He would have lost his job, and been put in jail himself. He probably has a family to support. He did exactly what the law tells him to do: report it, and try to discourage further violence, non-violently.

I wouldn't expect him to throw punches, but any decent human should go beyond just calling the cops and watch someone get beaten to the point where they have a seizure.
