No! Try it out and and let us know how it works. You already have it might as well try out right? Try doing the spits while doing a handstand and see how long you can hold it. That covers all the areas it's supposed to improve right?

-Improves Flexibility
-Better Balance
-Longer Muscle Stamina
-Increased Core Strength

Lol I'm just fucking with you. Hell if it makes you "think" it's doing something then it's worth it. The mind is the hardest thing to figure out. I've gone into the gym fucking psyched up and lifted awesome. I've also gone in with a "just get it done" attitude and lifted like shit. My strength was no different my frame of mind was. If the Bracelet puts you in a better frame of mind and "tricks" your body into thinking it's working don't sweat it.

Berz out.

Is it the hologram sticker that makes you think it works, or the fact that it costs $40 (!)?

If this thing is such garbage, then why do they have so many big-name athletes signed. Surely, these athletes would not want any affiliation with a scam as it's bad for their rep, right?

When I saw this shit in stores, I obviously thought "this shit is garbage", but when I saw so many superstar athletes making testimonials about it, I became unsure. Yes, I know they are obviously getting paid but I'm sure these athletes wouldn't put their rep on the line in order to make some money, considering their rep is what makes them half their money...

You're a fricking moron.

Then again, the placebo effect does work well.

PS: Want to buy some magic spells? For only $100, I can get a witch doctor in Nambia to cast you a spell that will make your life better.

While the idea of a bracelet optimizing your body's performance may be hard to swallow, the general idea behind it's technology isn't. Being in touch with our body's natural energy, and working to optimize it, is at the foundation of many ancient Eastern philosophies. Frequencies from items we use daily such as cell phones, radios, televisions, and microwaves can damage the naturally free-flowing energy in our body. These wristbands claim to be the answer to restoring that energy back to a normal level.

I'm not saying it does or doesn't work, and I couldn't tell you personally that there are any pros or cons of wearing it until I was to wear one. I am open to the idea, that it COULD have some effect. That said, I would never buy one for $40 when I have no idea if it truly works or not.

You have $40 to lose you dumb shit.

From the company's own website:
http://www.powerbalance.com/australia/ca

In our advertising we stated that Power Balance wristbands improved your strength, balance and flexibility.

We admit that there is no credible scientific evidence that supports our claims

YAY! You're a fucking moron!

my cousin plays for HK baseball team and i see everyone on his team using these. The ones they use are from Japan called Phiten something and they all tell me that after a long day of baseball it actually helps relax their muscles. I know they sell these in hk for 300-400$hkd for a bracelet and 1000-2000$hkd for a necklace. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me.

Power Balance, the Laguna Niguel company behind the silicone bracelets favored by athletes such as Shaquille O’Neal, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

The company has suffered a net loss of more than $9 million in the 10 months ending in October after earning a $11.7 million profit last year, according to documents filed in federal court in Santa Ana on Friday.

Its bracelets contain “hologram technology adopted from Eastern philosophies that is believed to improve and enhance people’s lives,” according to the filings. Power Balance employs about 40 people.

The company has struggled with a class action lawsuit originating from “inappropriate marketing claims” from an Australian distributor, which in turn led to Power Balance losing customers around the world.

Advertisements claimed that the wristbands improved balance, strength and flexibility -- benefits that the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission challenged.

The agency said last year, after Power Balance admitted that there “is no credible scientific basis for the claims,” that consumers who felt misled would be offered a refund.

I know someone who has bought into this bullshit. They said I should have an "open mind"

I am about as open minded as people get, but not when it means being willfully ignorant. So at that moment, I learned that sometimes having an open mind means being stupid.

This scam was on 60 minutes.

For the balance test on one foot first they pull the hand down and away. With the bracket on the just pull straight down. Think about a ladder. You can put hundreds of pounds on it and it will not move. But you can push it over from the site with one hand.
