Since mother's day is coming up this weekend,

preferably somewhere in Richmond or Vancouver

Where ever you go make your reservations the second you decide. Many places are booked up already.

Frick - never eating out on Mother's Day again. I went to Red Star (on Granville) and the food was good, but it was extremely busy, crowded, and rushed.

It generally is INSANE. Better to cook for Mommy yourself.

Yup, things are just absolutely insane on mother's day. The only place I have had a good experience is the Sunday brunch at Northview Golf Club. Did that last year and it was great service and food like usual.

This year I cooked dinner myself and she absolutely loved it :fullofwin:

People that eat out on holidays deserve the shitty food/service that they get.
