Hey so I am a slight forum noob but I sent about 3 messages out so far but in my messages area it says "Sent items (0 messages)". I believe that should have 3 items. It never said my messages failed. Do I have to make "X" amount of posts before messages work?

While I suppose it's possible that they aren't sending due to posting requirements, from your control panel go to Edit Options and see whether this is unchecked, maybe? "When sending private messages the forum can make a copy of the message in your Sent Items folder."

from my end, nothing is restricted in regards to pm's with the exception as noted above.

your messages are sending.
