I'm jumping back to working out again (for strength/sport, not bodybuilding), and this time around, I want to learn how to train properly instead of just lifting random weights.

Is there any books/literature that you guys would recommend?

Google picked up Stuart McRobert, and I've read a bit of reviews that he writes great books.

Has anyone looked at "Scrawny to Brawny" by Michael Mejia and John Berardi?

I'm looking for something that also covers proper technique and muscle balance.

This is a great book. You can also see how badly you need to work out depending on how well you manage to hold this book.
