I have a 1984 Grumman and the roof is flaking and I want to remove all the paint as it is getting vinyl'd with a full wrap. Their was a post a couple weeks back about some airplane paint removal that someone recommended Think it could be found at Lordco? Some toxic liquid or something :) I do have access to full safety gear if that's the case and a pressure washer.

I tried taking a wire brush to the roof and got most of the flakes, but now I need to get the spots in between. I also have to remove all the white paint from the bumper, as I want the original aluminium that is underneath to show.

the one you're thinking of is Tal-Strip aircraft paint remover lol. it's about 40$ for a 4L jug i think.
