I am using an integrated video card at the moment to run Civ5 and it won't run properly.
Looking for a video card under $100, or preferably the cheapest to run this game at optimal speeds.
My PC:
AMD X4 630 OC to 3.5GHz
4GB RAM DDR3
Integrated Video Card
Running 1440x900 Res.
Would the Radeon HD 5670 DDR3 be sufficient?
I am pretty much using it ONLY for this game.

the game doesn't really need video power, so any cheapo video card would work. What the computer needs is at least minimum 4 cores. I can't play the game on my home pc (dualcore) but my i5 laptop handles it like a champ.

Just be sure to turn the leader scenes all the way down

i don't have the game but read up on it. lots of people saying that civ5 runs better on direct x9, so you might consider downgrading if it's the only game you play.

I have a 4850 and video-wise it works fine...
I had a dual-core 3.0 but had to downgrade to a dual-core 2.5 and performance turned to shit! every time i clicked next turn, my computer will need at least 2 minutes to load it.

You need something that can run Direct X 11 and yeah an i3 min, preferably an i5.
And no don't down grade. It runs like shit on Direct X 9.

My CPU is a 4-core, so I am not worried about my CPU speed. However, When I am playing the game, it doesn't go to the next turn when I end my turn, the game just hangs with the cursor spinning.
I am thinking it's the video card, hence the upgrade. Has anyone else ran into this problem?

When the cursor spins, I think you could still press next turn lol.
