I've been hearing from several people that they received screen protectors and cases for their iPhone 4's in the mail recently...The packages were sent free of charge and on behalf of Fido.

Anyone else receive one of these freebies? Anyone know how they determine who gets it any who doesn't?

I know someone who bought their iPhone on launch day who received it this week as well as someone who bought their iPhone just a few months ago and also received the Fido freebie. :s

lol..... anyways i got my iphone 1 or 2 months ago..

i received 2 packages from them

first package includes case, screen protector and bluetooth earphone (They attached a letter mentioned was because i purchased a new iphone)

second package includes the case and screen protector (No letter attached, just a paper stating the gift market value)

I got 1 Griffin Elan Form Graphite case, and 1 Griffin Screen Care Kits (3 matte protectors). I got them in 1 FedEx package that I received last week. There was also a letter from Fido saying thank you for being an iPhone customer.

I got my case and screen protector shipped to me by UPS last week. Thing was, I didn't buy my iPhone 4 thru Fido! I bought it directly from the Apple store (unlocked)!

well, my first package which includes a bluetooth headset was recieved 2 weeks after I got my phone thru FIDO.

2nd package which i recieved just last week or few days ago.

Came in as UPS packages, not quite sure if my dad sign for it tho.

I think I still got the letter from Fido in the package, might be able to take a shot and show you.

Yeah, I got the exact same thing via UPS. The weird part though is that I didn't renew my contract or anything; I bought the phone unlocked from Apple when it came out.

Kinda creepy that they know I have an i4...
