Doesn't look like it's texting and driving, seems like driving under influence; alcohol.

The guy filming should have called the cops when he keeps constantly swerving. Could have killed someone.

Holding a camera, filming while driving behind an intoxicated driver all over the road could be hazardous to your health as well...

IT'S NOT... don't text and drive.

IT'S... don't drive when you are mentally fucked in brain.

Driving while looking through a camera isn't the best idea either

I don't think the driver was sending a text, more like writing an essay...

a snitch? really? you need to rethink your priorities in life if you think calling the cops on that guy would be a 'snitch'. You see someone running around with a loaded gun while drunk, would you call the cops on him? A speeding car out of control is more dangerous than a loaded gun. Lets see somebody texting and driving hurt someone you love. Maybe then you'd wish someone had 'snitched' on him.

This was posted in NSFW i wouldn't consider this a repost because not everyone goes to the NSFW section.

I personally agree with you. I've called someone in who was driving like this. In a case this bad it would be negligent not to call it in.

My comment stems from the recent thread where a BMW hit a lamppost and negligently left a serious danger on the road. Someone on the forum reported it and RS jumped all over him. RS doesn't like a snitch. That's been proven. Sadly.

:lol
Nothing wrong with exercising double-standards in this case.

We're talking about someone obviously DUI and just near missed an oncoming traffic...immediate threat so to speak.

not someone who sits behind a computer and never witnessed the actually incident forwarding info to his cop buddy.

and the irony of filming someone texting and driving when you are driving yourself

The thing is the BMW that hit a lamp post had ALREADY hit it.
Snitching in that scenario would only bring blame.
But if someone is driving erratically then that is a tragedy that CAN be avoided if you call the cops..

Even the dumbest teenage girl that can't stop texting her friends about Justin Bieber would have the brains to pay some attention after one near miss. No one in their right mind would continue texting after almost crashing.

This guy is falling asleep or drunk at the wheel.

And there needed to be blame since there are costs involved and someone was at fault.

You don't get it. It's not like he cleaned it up before he left. There was danger that could have been avoided if it was reported and dealt with more quickly.

First time I've seen this

anything in NSFW section doesn't really count because a lot of people browse during work and will never enter that part of the site

Could be sleeping and driving.

BTW, the person taking the vid should have honked at the driver to get him to pull over.
