Are you allowed to use this one if you're already a customer?
So many of them are first time users only.

I just tried it on a pair of random glasses and it worked...
just make sure it doesn't say the coupon thingy.

not sure why it's not working for some glasses that don't have that restriction?
I just tested it on a random pair and it works:

^interesting. you got free shipping?
My order was $15 after shipping and handling.

Yeah...how did you get free shipping?
Usually they make you pay shipping + handling for free glasses :S
Oleophobic
06-02-2011, 01:32 PM
probably because the total before the coupon was applied was over $100
When I first tested this yesterday I chose a cheaper frame and there was shipping.
oh snap! 8 dorra glasses nomnomnomnom.
Something to look forward to next week when they get here.

Seems like it doesn't work anymore?
Says "coupon code was not applied"
EDIT: Never mind, I tried an email I've never used before and it worked

Depends on the frames, some of them you can't really tell if they stick

try putting in a different name/email and leave address and all that the same, then the coupon will apply

sorry? but what do u mean by they "stick"? I am guessing only the thicker lens are free, the thinner ones for the pair i picked was $69.95. What did you choose for your pair?

i think hes saying that depending on the frames, some cant tell if your lenses are thick or not.
like these, you can't tell they are thick from the sides because the frame covers

but it doesnt cover for these

^ yea thanks. Just making sure with everyone because ppl keep telling me glasses are free so i was thinking lens size was also free. I guess i'll have to choose the "super thin" lens since the frame from the pair i like is fairly thin. This is the pair i'm planning to get. $69.95 for the thin lens plus tax plus handling for it.

thanks for the reply, i actually ordered something else in the end. I still choose "super thin" lens for $69.95 instead of the free one which i am guessing would be heavy and thick. But hey, still a good deal. total came to $84ish.
this working for anyone still? I'm trying to get my 4th pair this month but it seems the coupon isn't applying anymore....

Yeah....I wonder why....
For my prescription, I do not have a PD #.. what do I do??

measure it yourself, in a mirror
^^they have a tool on the site where you can use webcam/photo to get the measurement.
Yeah....I wonder why....
why the hate bro? Full time school doesn't leave money for things like glasses so when I can get them on the cheap why not load up.
My dad came by here for lunch and he was able to measure my PD. Thanks!
Ordered a pair of those Kam Dhillon's for $40 after taxes :)
Thanks guys for the code.

..And you need 4 pairs of glasses because..

..And you need 4 pairs of glasses because..
Because in the future when you need a new prescription for new glasses, you have 4 frames to choose between instead of buying new frames for 100+!

..And you need 4 pairs of glasses because..
Its like a watch or shoes... Different glasses give you a different look. I have 3 pairs myself.. 1 spare, 1 work, 1 casual.. =p
^^exactly what they said. I'm not rich, I'm on a student budget so I'll get glasses for free when I can.
Different glasses for different looks, occasions including work/wrenching/dress/casual, and if I switch between frames they get less use and I have glasses that last longer reducing my already little budget as is. Having spare glasses is also a must since I need them to drive and I need to drive to be able to work. Beats the hell out of taking days off work because I can't get into the eye doctor and end up missing rent.

On a side note, anyone know any great promos for the contacts they have there? I'm sure using my 2week ones for 4 months isn't doing any good for my eyes.
