My current electric shaver is about to die and I need some suggestions on a good replacement. The current model is an older Braun with trimmer attachment.
I use the trimmer for a bit of manscaping however I am thinking it might be better to purchase separate electric shavers and electric trimmers. I am leaning to the Braun 7 or 5 series. Anyone have any suggestions experience with these or other brands?
My current shaver is about 8 years old so I no recent experience in what is good to buy.

I use a Remington electric shaver. From London Drugs, got it about 6-7 years ago for a little over $100, and has been working perfect ever since with no signs of wear or breaking AT ALL. My first shaver, and it seems to me like its immortal.

Try taking the blade area apart and cleaning it.

Phillips shavers are good but ive had 3 in about 6 years and the lower model ones tend to wear out faster. Probably because they are made in china
Try and get a higher model one..

I've had a higher-end Panasonic for 3 years. It cuts as close as a Mach 3, but I've found that I need to go over an area a few times.
For manscaping, I have a Philips Body Groomer. It works pretty well for all my needs.
