I will be buying something custom made online from USA, receipt will say "parts total" and "labor total" Will i have to pay tax on just the parts or labor as well?

Everything should be included into the cost when you pay to ship it. I could be wrong tho. Usually when ordering stuff like "Custom" made items the duty taxes should be included into the cost of the shipper.

You pay tax on the total indicated on the invoice.

For example:

Part XYZ: $100
Labour: $250

Total $350.

You pay tax on $350. There should be no duty as the final product was made in USA.

Farfetched

What about if you're sending something in for repairs?

I'll find out by the end of this week and let you know. :lol

I had to send something down to California for repair but the item was out of warranty. I'm pretty sure if the officer wanted to, he/she could charge me at their discretion.

Sorry. I forgot to ask.

I simply opened up the package and shoved the OBC into my car with the wire harness to see if it worked or not. :fullofwin:

Turns out it did. So I left it alone.
