Hey guys.

I have an older dual core macbook and recently it started freezing every time I try to upload any songs into itunes. Activity monitor shows it not responding, colour wheel spins and spins etc... any ideas?

Your iTunes might be transcoding the file that you are uploading to a higher bitrate or to aac...try to disable that in the preference section
