taxes on top, usually charged to the same visa card. Taxes can be paid at a rate of 100 points per $1.

As far as I know, travel tickets must be bought by the card holder. I tried to buy a ticket for my mom to NY but RBC travel said it was not possible. This was summer 2010.
You might want to look into it.
