I can't believe next year's Birthday will be 20 years since I won a city-wide essay contest in grade 5 and had to read it infront of a packed arena on Canada Day - the subject: Why I'm Proud To Be Canadian! Never been so nervous on stage in my life but I got big cheers for mentioning hockey and CFL football in my essay.
