| USASPEC installation
Hi,
I'm wondering if someone can recommend me an installer to help me integrate a USASPEC into my '05 Acura TSX w/ Navi? I heard it's easy and I probably can do it myself but I rather have a professional install it cleanly vs me doing a ghetto 1/2 ass job.
I got the "USA SPEC PA15-HON2".
Thanks!

Looks nice! How did you secure the unit inside your dash?

If you still need an installer to do this I can tackle it for you for cheap. Plus, I had a TSX as well so I know them very well!

I got it! Taking out the compartment light was a great idea. I'm having trouble getting the tray back in perfect, but I think I'll figure that out eventually. The tray door doesn't close perfectly. Sound quality is so much better than FM transmitter, but sometimes I can hear a high pitch whine when I have the stereo cranked.

It's pretty tight back there behind the compartment. If you want to get the tray back in flush, you'll probably need to reposition the unit as far back as you can possibly push it before putting the compartment back in.
I routed mine into my glove box. I also bought an el-cheapo used iPod Classic (I bought a 60GB one but you can get a smaller one) and I just leave it in my car. It's cheap enough that if it got stolen, it wouldn't hurt too much and battery life isn't really a concern since it charges automatically. Track changes are done on the steering wheel so there isn't really a need to see the unit at all.
