Convert DTS audio to AC3 to play on LG TV

My LG TV plays most MKV files from USB.

Some MKV files plays the video but I get an "unsupported audio" error. My research so far tells me that I have to convert the audio from DTS to AC3. I looked at some tutorials online that were old (dated 2007 and older)

It seems to be a multi-step/difficult process involving a few programs. Is there an easy way to do this?

Using AVIDEMUX, you can re-encode the audio, but leave the video source intact. Just one step. Set the video to "Copy" and set the audio to whatever is compatible with your player.
