Being built by hand and all its the best replica ive seen. Fix up the taillights, wheels, and get a couple badges, and its good to go.

1.5 million for something that trying to look like real thing its over priced, seriously if i had 1.5 million i would just BUY A REAL SUPER CAR & not just a over priced fake (i dun even care if its the fast then the real thing)
seriously your not making a better version of a classic car

Yeah, everyone knows that, but the car is priced at $89 000
"Duff currently has the vehicle up for sale with a price of $89,000 — less than 1/10th the price of a genuine Veyron."

Read the article much? Veyron: $1,500,000 USD. Replica? $89,000USD. It's for sale too.

damn, beaten to it.

Not my cup of tea, but I applaud the effort. This guy is probably that Arash guys new mentor/hero.
Not sure if anyone is digging the funky colors.
They are the original colors, just reversed. Although admittedly I didn't care for the original color scheme too much anyhow.

Did you even read the article, or do you just like the sound of the hot air coming out of your mouth?
Also a car that has been around for 5-6 years does not qualify as a classic car. Awesome, yes (understatement). Classic? Not yet.

I would like to offer you a job...make me that car that can cruise around the Top Gear test track in 1:16, hit over 400km/h on the Ehra-Lessien track before coming to a stop in 10 seconds from that speed. I will give you an extra 10,000 for your troubles.
Or you can admit you are an idiot. Either works. Car or idiot, you choose.
I wont touch the looks comment, because I believe it's in the eye of the beholder. But if you can't see beauty in the kind of engineering that went into that car, you don't appreciate cars. period.

Considering that the majority of the people who buy the Veyron only buy it for the looks and notoriety, this isn't a half bad idea. Why blow $1.5 million when you just want to make people THINK you blew $1.5 million.
Also for $89,000 you *could* make a very powerful car but the reliability and comfort level wouldn't even be close.

$89,000 for that kinda fitment eh?

I think you guys are missing the point. This guy is obviously very good at what he does, and he took some time to work on this project to show off his skills. It's never meant to "run like the real thing", just look like the real thing. It's more like something to put into his portfolio. Imagine the kind of job offers he will be getting knowing that he can hand craft something like this at 25 years old with his own tools out of his garage. A lot of people on the forums appreciate sleeper cars where the owners mod only for performance gains exclusively. Why can't you guys have the same kind of appreciation for someone completely fabricating this exterior for aesthetic purposes only? It's not like he's out boasting what kind of speeds his car can get. He just wants people to know what he can do, and whats possible.

Sure, give me 89g's and I'll go buy an evo slap in 70-80 grand. I know the veyron is a modern engineering masterpiece. Saying I don't appreciate cars is probably the most ignorant thing you could of said to me. I live cars bud and im pretty sure most of us on this forum are.
You sir need to shut the fuck up.
Also I didnt bash the veyron or the custom cougar this guy made so why you gotta be mad?

I said this to Arash before, and he wouldn't fucking listen:
Just because it looks like the real thing, doesn't mean it IS the real thing.
I agree with the guy saying it makes a GREAT addition to his portfolio for designing, but it still doesn't mean it's right to have a fake car. To me this is like taking a detailed photograph of the Mona Lisa and calling it the original. Props to the guy, but it's still a fake.
Also, aren't Cougars HORRIBLY unreliable :fullofwin:?

I am not mad whatsoever; I am just shocked by your ignorance, for someone who says he "lives" cars.
If you don't want to be called an idiot; don't make fuckin idiotic comments. You said you could make a better car (looks and performance = better) than a veyron for $89,000. How the fuk is that not bashing the veyron. Ask the people who built that car how they feel about the validity of your comment. If they could stop from laughing in the 10 minutes following your statement, they would probably just shake their heads and walk away.
So you're going to buy what, an '03 EVO VIII, and throw 70g's into it and you think that car is going to be better than a fuckin veyron??? What's the resale? 30,000? Maybe that will buy you the technology/engineering/parts that went into the fuckin braking system on one wheel of the veyron. Then again, probably not.
I am not drawing my own conclusions here. You thanked a guy who posted a pic of a turbo and a busa. When the fuk did a busa become a car? Also, I am sure a turbo busa feels "undramatic" at 400km/h just like the veyron.
I don't care how much you think you know or "live" cars, if you had a clue about the kind of sh!t that goes into producing a 4000lb car that drive likes the veyron your fuckin head would spin (and you wouldn't have said what you did).
I know a lot of people who "live" cars, and their extent of mechanical knowledge starts somewhere in the cherry bomb aisle at Cambodian Tire, and ends at the short ram intake/steering wheel combo accessory store shelf.
Is the veyron overpriced? of course. But unlike a Gucci bag for example, you will have the car of the decade parked in your garage.
