RULES:

- no hitting, bodychecks, rough playing, etc.
- no diving on slapshots unless you want to lose a tooth, break a nose, or want purple bruises for intimate reasons
- must wear appropriate protective gear
- must be 19 years and over to play

yeah when I play with my buddies they just even up the teams. The good players generally play against each other or they let up against the guys that can barely skate haha.

Oh and I assume full gear means at least a visor? (been playing without one for 2 years)

visor is up to you. what i meant by full gear is the usual hockey shorts, chest protector, knees & elbow pads, and whatever other protective equipment a player wears.

wow your really beating yourself up over your skill level. I suck at net but everytime i play i feel like Patrick Roy making 33 saves with a smile on my face. keep that confidence up! you'll eventually get the hang of it.
look at raybot, he thinks he's sidney crosby but plays like roberto luongo... hahaha! i joke ray, i joke.

I believe there is at least 3 ppl who cannot make it for the Aug. 3 so im keeping the list open for now. Worse comes to worse Raybot can call in a few guys to fill that in.

In regards to slap shots.. I really don't think it's going to be a big deal. No one in pick up is there to take off anyone's head. The guys that are capable of taking hard slap shots are probably decent and understanding players, they're not going to just tee off with 5 guys in front of them. Especially since this is just an RS pick up game, i'm sure no one is coming to this to injure anyone. Anyone who's played pick up before know's that you don't rub anyone out (or make hits), you don't play dirty, and you don't tee off from the point when there's a crowd in front of you. And if anyone who is signed up does anything stupid like that, RS Beat Down Crew has your back..

August 3, 2011 7pm to 9pm. (will confirm time. my email says 7pm to 9:30pm but that seems too long.) It is $12 each player and goalies play for free.


NOTE: ROSTER LIST NO LONGER VALID. Raybot suggested that we choose team by picking sticks therefore I will do that. It will make the game fair and no complains as to one team being stacked or so forth.


RULES:

- no hitting, bodychecks, rough playing, etc.
- no diving on slapshots unless you want to lose a tooth, break a nose, or want purple bruises for intimate reasons

Remember you guys can switch jerseys and teams half way thought to make things more even. As well It's normally smart to switch goalies as well to keep things interesting. This is only a pick up game so you can always change things around.

Since it's such a long time slot as well mix things up a bit. Give random PP/PK chances to keep it fun.

I just got an email from the ice coordinator and apparently he made an error with the time frame. He said the price he charged me was for 7pm to 8:30pm.
