My stomach sank watching that. How terrible. I guess they did not expect the water to rush in so quickly. :(

I guess somewhat of a silver lining, but two of the five survived. Still extremely traumatizing.

wtf happened there? did they dam up a waterfall upstream then release it or something? doesn't look like a flash flood. and it doesn't look like they were crossing the river, more like checking out the view over the temporarily dry falls.
RIP.

damn... that sucks. I think if they had known the full potential of the danger,
had they just rushed quickly in the beginning, all would have made it.
They hesitated a bit when the water was dangerous, but still shallow/weak enough.

What kind of retarded tour is this...
And they were still walking and standing while everybody else ran? Probably wasn't warned/trained against it. They're doomed the moment the water reach them. These flash food have enough force to sweep away vehicles... Why blame the cameraman? Nobody could have saved them.

this is so sad, it could have happened to any one of our families on an innocent tour of a country.

Five people swept over Indian waterfall
Five people got caught in rising waters and lost their footing. All five went over the waterfall. Two people were rescued below and three are still missing and presumed dead.
Update: The incident occurred at around 1:15 PM (IST) on Sunday. Nanuram (25) of Badnawar and Anishq (18) of Harda were saved by the people. Chandrashekhar Rathi (55) and Mudita Rathi (22) of Harda are still missing. Chavi (22)'s dead body was retrieved. It is believed that two other missing persons could be dead too. The authorities in the area failed to inform the tourists about the flash flooding. However, villagers said they had warned the people sitting in the risky areas of the stream about it. Rescue operations are going on to trace the missing victims
