At 8.5GB, This holds twice as much capacity as the regular DVDs and ten times that of a CD. It is perfect for storing documents, movies, videos, photos because you never know when your hard drive will die and lose all your sensitive data. I was able to put an entire season of Lost onto one disc (~17 hours of SD video).
Most retailers sell DVD+/-R DL for $1+ per disc
Digimaster DVD+R DL 8x (two discs)
only burned a few discs, No problems whatsoever.
It uses the Ritek S04 066 MIT discs which has great burn results.
Vio DVD-R DL 4x (8 dsics)
purchased in Taiwan..bought them because it had good reviews
