Apparently my dad was hit by a car today around 3pm at Mary Hill Bypass and Shaughnessy. His car was a Black BMW X5. When they pulled over, the other car instantly gunned it and drove away most likely to Maple Ridge. I will update with more details about the other car when I hear from my dad, but if anyone saw that car or have more information please post here or contact me at 604-671-3883.
Update:
Apparently it was a blue beater and his front end should be completely crushed as he went under my dad's car.

i rage when i see hit and run drivers, there was one time i was at Richmond alexander road. Saw a C-Lai in a Rev 4 backed up into a poor yaris then took off. I wrote down her plate number and my contact info on a piece of paper and clipped it on the wind shield whippers of the yaris. 3 days later i got a thankyou letter + a call from ICBC.
What happens to those hit and run drivers if they get caught? Higher cost of insurance or a fine?
