Also, the roadsense book I used to pass my L (2004) never talked about it. Only the newer editions had an extra section on multi-laned roundabouts so yeah not my fault.

That makes sense actually.
If you walk on the right side (in the same direction as traffic) cars will be coming up behind you and it can be dangerous as you can't see them and they don't know that you are aware of them.

If you walk on the left side, facing oncoming traffic, you can see cars approaching and they can see that you're aware of them in case they need to pull over or turn into a driveway for example.

No, they are not saying you should walk sideways facing the centre of the road :lol

Their wording is shit. Even though that makes sense, facing the centre of the road and traffic moving away from you are both still "facing" traffic.

Blame would be on the other driver cause the cop told you to go.
Keep in mind don't trust the construction workers cause they have no legal authority. If they say go and it's a red, the accident is your fault and you get a ticket for running the red.

i picked the answer "be prepared to stop, continue if no hazard is identified." maybe i just misunderstood the answer lol

edit: i remember when i took my L test. most of the questions on it were so retarded, nearly all them were situational, it was impossible to get the correct answer without factoring in all 1234653413214658132167874 possibilities that might occur in real life.

Did you know, if you waived her by during a road test you would fail? This is because you don't know the other road conditions and it may be unsafe for them to cross.

The best course of action during a road test is to slow down and come to a complete stop.

There's plenty of minivans and suv's with built-in tv's.
It said passenger, not driver. Or is this some kind of trick like a passenger = driver?

I actually don't mind #1 all that much. Only because I would think of it as
if there was a red light and a traffic cop is in the middle instructing you to go,
you would go.

Sure, some rules are more important than others, but tell me you've never sped up to prevent someone from moving into your lane.
