Ok, it's been almost 10 years since I dropped out of high school, and now I want to go back and finish my courses because I am thinking of going back to school to study electrical (not sure automotive or construction yet).

Can anyone who have knowledge in this give me some directions? Do I have to go back to my high school and get my latest report card? How does it work?

Dropped out..idk much about it but I think schools accepts students as adults? (I know Langara does) But if you're missing courses to get into your program or required high school prerequisites you need to go back to adult school to finish those courses before you're allowed to take the college courses

They will list it out in their program.

First I get your transcript, and give it to adult ed. They will tell you what you have to complete in order to graduate.

Look up the requirements you need to get into your program at BCIT? (I think its mostly English and Math) - so work hard on those.

Not sure how long it will take you to finish those HS courses, but I can safely say it wont take too long if you work hard at it. You might be in your program by next september.

good luck!

Not sure about this.

Depends when you dropped out. If you dropped out in grade 10, you have 2 years to catch up on. You can take a year's worth of a high school course in a semester but you'll need certain courses to graduate and to get into your desired program.

It is possible to get it all done by September but this will involve a lot of dedication.
