i tried posting my car up for sale on craigslist today... Everything went well such as entering the phone number --> getting verification code, entering the code, PUBLISHED --> and my very own ad that i can even LINK it to other people etc etc.

However, heres the problem.. if i tried to search my car on the search box, my ad won't show up...

The sad thing is, its not the first time that its been doing this, month or two ago, when my car was modified, and i tried selling as a whole it did the same thing..

I thought maybe something from my IP adress is blocked or my firewall etc, so got my friend to post the ad for me from HIS computer, and the result? same thing.. it wont show up...

I used about 7 html pics in my ad... perhaps that may be the cause? i even tried to post WITHOUT using ANY html pics, but simply just using the CL attach image function and it STILL doesnt work... starting to get a little annoying :(

help would be greatly appreciated :okay:

I've had the same problem previously when trying to post on CL. My post just delayed before being available for search. Maybe wait?
Perhaps someone else knows more about this thought.

heres my actual published ad by the way.. published at 1:49pm... been exactly an hour and still not showing?

oh, and before someone says wait longer..., last time i posted and waited COUPLE DAYS and it still didnt show up on the listings... arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I deleted that ad on purpose because it wouldnt let me remake.. (remake only because it wasnt showing on the listings.. not to overpost)
its working now though.. i used my brothers email adress and his computer and his cell phone.. and its now working.. however i didnt attach ANY html pics, didnt use any keywords.. and made it really simple..

now.. i wonder, what if i edit the post and try to attach in the html pics?.

it happened to me too, even when i posted when i was selling my exhaust. Don't worry about it though, its actually there. I kept getting emails about it so that proved although i couldn't see it when it said i should, it was obviously still there

ad was visible on the actual search/listings for 10 mins and dissappeared again... :fuuuuu:

nope nope and nope, still not working.... its been more than 20mins now... in fact, its been an hour.. still dont see my ad :S

I tried searching it manually on CL but no luck. Perhaps wait a bit. This has happened to me and I was never able to search my ad a while back
