Recently I found this phone @ Goldstone Restaurant & Bakery. Its a black Motorola Droid X from Verizon Wireless, Black silicon casing also on it. Found on seat, I know the feeling of losing your phone, trying my best to get it back to the owner. Owner seems to like dogs very much. Pics as homescreen and stuff. Most contacts are in the seattle area code, none have replied to my texts.
If anyone knows who this phone may belong to then please send me a PM.
Will not give out to just anybody, must be proven it belongs to you.
If no replies, what should i do with it guys? Im thinking of dropping it off at Verizon whenever i get down to the states....
If it's not too much bother, I would try calling verizon and reporting the ESN as found. Since each phone has unique ESN number, the owner will likely call in to report it lost and deactivate.
Hopefully this way, Verizon can notify the customer that the phone has been found.
Dial their customer service number (*611?) and report that you found the phone. They may put you in contact with the owner, probably by calling the owners contact number and having them call the cell, or your number.
We need more people like OP...
+1 karma!, hope the guy/girl finds their phone!
Here is how I reunited the phone with its owner last time I found one:
I looked through their call logs, finding who they called the most. I called that number, and said I found the phone and would be more than willing to give it back. Within minutes someone called the number, was able to tell me some of the pictures they had in there, and we went our merry way.
Since racking up a few dollars of long distance to the owners' bill may be waaayy cheaper than the guy getting a brand new phone, why not try to do the same? (some people may mistake your texts as drunk texts lol)
That is my cousin's phone. I'll definitely let her know. But we are
from the states. We have a cousin in Vancouver, so I'll contact him
and forward this email to him. He maybe the one to pick up the phone
for her.
Thanks so much for contacting me!
