Anitec finally closed down

Guess memory express and ncix were to much to handle for them.
They are having a auction too!

happened abruptly about month or two ago
i was trying to browse their website and noticed it was down for a few days
was thinking to myself "lol, probably got owned by ncix/memory express"
prices were far from competitive in the last few years..they won't be missed

I'll miss them

only because they were the closest one to me. Sometimes, it isn't worth driving the extra bit to NCIX just to save an extra $1.

Whoa... I didn't see this coming.

I drive by it all the time, and didn't know they had closed down since a month or two ago.

Think you really have to be at this auction in person... way too many lots that don't have pictures or are like "bucket of miscellaneous electronics".

yeah i checked out their website about a month ago looking to pick up a micro sd card and micro usb cable from there. i don't mind paying an extra $1 or $2 instead of driving all the way to either burnaby or west broadway. i drove past it a few times and noticed it was closed, i just assumed they were maybe renovating or something.

anyways can someone give me some insight on how the auctioning will go

just overall details

Really I think NCIX locations are not bad...broadway for the D/T & west-end folks, metrotown for the bby & east van folks.

Better than driving to memory express in richmond.

so when's ATIC going down? I remember that place was half decent

Man... I want to bid, but the damn site wants me to provide my CC information through a non-encrypted form. I hope they get their asses hacked.

Bought about 3 custom built computers from them before and I had great service as well. You will be missed.

That sucks. I really liked their store layout, as in how it's like a warehouse to take a look
at all the products. One thing I didn't like about NCIX was that you can't buy a product
without taking a look at the product packaging and stuff before hand since they don't bring the product out until you make your purchase.

Although that was in the past, now that NCIX has a store in Aberdeen,
you can see products on display too now.

I've never heard of memory express before. Do they have weekly sales like NCIX?

They're up to $30 now I think.

I bid on a different chair for $1 lol.

edit: also if it says for a "group" does that mean I'm bidding for the lot of chairs? -.-

Totally forgot about this thread :P and yeah "group" means your bidding for the lot of chairs.

Sad to see Anitec gone too, liked it at the old location where it was like NCIX and how they had to go to the back for the item
