My friend had his Lamborghini Murcielago Heffner TT stolen in Calgary. It was white with a IMSA bodykit but the rumor is that has been painted flat black and is in Kelowna. If anybody see's it driving on the street please send me a PM so I can give the owner the information, he would also like you to contact the police!

Kelowna is a pretty random place to take a stolen lambo, more likely it's already been shipped overseas. I hope he had insurance.

ECU is coded to the key, to get the key you need to be the registered owner and need to order it from a dealer with the VIN......

Hope the car comes back in one piece tho. Told my sister about this as she lives in K-Town.

not sure about the rumor, but when a car like that gets stolen then I would assume it's going overseas. Hard to believe that someone would be stupid enough to just paint it and keep it in country. Hope I'm wrong, good luck to your friend.

agreed, nobody with the ability to steal a car like that is going to be stupid enough to drive it around town in kelowna. That car is likely loaded on to a shipping container and headed far far away.

i was in kelowna last weekend. I actually saw like 3 lambos and a couple of ferrari's...not sure if they have that kit though..and most of them are from alberta too

Tracking can easily be defeated by putting the car in a container.. it is the perfect Faraday cage.

They don't do it at port.. usually the car is flatbed from the property.. then on a remote road is loaded on a container truck. Track all you want, but if the last signal is on a dirt road and you don't know which truck you are SOL.
