New netbook troubles...

Picked up a netbook for the gf yestarday and we're having some issues with not being able to connect to some websites. We get a lot of "Certificate errors" on major sites that we use on a day to day basis-->Facebook, Gmail, Kayak, skype....then others work fine.

This computer is brand new out of the box so I'm really not sure whats going on here. Did I maybe miss a step in setup or something? Or anyone know whats the deal with certificate errors? Windows.com/help was no help at all.

quit using IE. or, you can go into the "Advanced" tab in the Options menu and uncheck the "check for publishers blah blah" .
