favourite lakes/rivers in the lower mainland to go swimming in?

so now that its getting alot hotter, its perfect for outdoor swimming

where do you guys like to go? no swimming pools!

i've been to cabin lake at cypress, and it was awesome

Currently closed due to high fecal coliform content. I remember swimming in that lake as a kid though.

Sasamat Lake out past Buntzen is cold, but clean. Buntzen too, I think. Lynn Canyon would be an obvious one, but busy as hell if it's hot out.

Cabin lake on cypress, how far of a hike is that from the parking lot? Looks pretty nice, was it cold?

I usually hit up golden ears/alouette lake.

about 1-2 km hike

quite cold...but worth it, great scenery
