When the teaser trailer came out I was a bit skeptical...but when I saw the official trailer come on during a commercial it was fuckin awesome.

I just hope it doesn't turn out to be overhyped like Battle LA...

However it has been promoted as a "found footage" film that does not use actors. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Dimension Films head Bob Weinstein denied the film was a work of fiction, stating that “We didn’t shoot anything, we found it. Found baby!” [6][7] The film will be distributed by Dimension Films.[8]

WTF?
lol.

Of course... that's why it needs a director, two screenwriters, set decorator, costumer, makeup department, a half-dozen producers, two dozen VFX guys... and a casting department. (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1772240/fullcredits)

Because you still need a casting department when you have no actors, and a VFX squad that would make James Cameron spooge, to work with "found" footage.

Edit: okay, watched the trailer... Blair Moon Project?

I actually want to watch this movie. It has a lot of potential I think for a genre that is getting tired. Inventive plot, IMO.

I'm gonna guess that this film won't be very good, based on the terrible trailer... Also really tired of the mystery monster genre....The payoff has been lackluster in almost every film of the sub-genre lately.

anyone watch it yet? On rotten tomatoes, the critics didn't like it while the audience said it was good.

went to watch it last night....the movie was meh...
made me jump a couple times but the storyline was just not making sense

don't click the spoiler if you don't want me to ruin it for you:

the astro/cosmonauts never made it back to earth, how the hell did they get the footage? they said many lunar rocks (ET) were brought back to earth, why didn't THEY get attacked and killed? meh..i don't know..too many questions :fulloffuck:
