: has anyone ever had an issue ordering a knife from overseas?

problem with customs, etc? crazy brokerage fees?

its a fixed blade, so it should be perfectly legal. just wondering about your personal experiences

i bought ginsu cutting knives from the US.. the product cost ,10.. when it came to my door, it was 70.

bought a pocket knife and had no problem with customs and didnt get charged for any fees

Got kitchen knives, just declared that at customs. They just waved me through.

I second Warriors and Wonders in Vancouver. Bought many many blades there. Keep in mind its not a full service store. Know what you want beforehand, pay and get out.

If it is a fixed blade, there will be zero problems at the border. You will just pay applicable taxes and duties. Done that a million times too.

ok, I was thinking about this. I there are prohibited fixed blade knives like a push dagger and throwing stars so don't bring those in.

online from WaW is the way to go. cheaper than in store and like 2 day shipping.
