But Jamie Oliver is an awesome cook and you gotta respect what he's trying to do with all his new shows. I enjoy his cooking shows a hell of a lot more than his newer food education ones (Food Revolution, Ministry of Food, School Dinners), but it's a great cause.

ever since that stupid show where hes making a salad out of lettuce and water outside with no utensils its been slowly going downhill. miss the days of him pestol mortoring the living shit out of herbs while making a face and groaning

I would like to think a fresh chunk of chicken leg is better than:

-Grinding up all the chicken leftovers
-Processing
-Freezing
-Recooked at some shitty, McDonalds joint


It's not the ingredients (maybe it is), but the overall process.

Fried Chicken McNuggets are not better than homecooked meals made from fresh Chicken, and I think that's his message.

How is his chicken nugget simply chicken meat ground up? Maybe the ground up fat, bones, stabilizers and flavour (he didn't even mention the large amount of corn, corn meal, dextrose, lecithin, modified corn starch, hydrogenated corn oil, citric acid and TBHQ that is in your McDonalds Chicken McNuggets) is supposed to be bad for you.:eekthumb:

Umm but all that crap you described had nothing to do with his demonstration. All he did was inadvertently show that kids actually aren't as stupid as he thinks, at least until they become brainwashed. The nuggets he made were perfectly fine, despite all the nasty words and actions and sound effects he made. If he wanted to make chicken mcnuggets look really bad, he could have done a much better job of it than this. But he's an idiot, so it just blew up in his face.
