I got this to hook up my new LCD TV to my old amp/stereo (which didnt have digital/toslink IN).. worked great.. converts your digital wire so you can plug into the standard RCA style L/R jacks of your amp/stereo. but now i've upgraded to a full surround sound with digital inputs and no longer require this. excellent condition.
