With all these little quakes we been getting... Does it infact relieve much pressure from the big guy we are expecting? Or will the past 10 little quakes we have be like -0.1 off the big guy?

I felt a little movement in poco but assumed it was a train.
I am surprised to see the epicenter being all the way out in the fraser valley. That's... well kinda counter intuitive. You'd expect it to be closer to the shore or out on the island wouldn't you?

It didnt really relieve much. It takes 100 magnitude 3`s to relieve a magnitude of 4.
To relieve a magnitude of 8 we need 100000 earthquakes of magintude 3`s to relieve a magnitude of 8

Ditto here in Pitt Meadows. Place usually shakes pretty good when a heavy freight goes by at top speed on the upper track, but the bed usually shakes side-to-side with the trains... was laying around last night and it started moving end-to-end. Thought that was weird, but waited for the train... then it was gone in a few seconds and I forgot about it until I saw the news this morning.

There are fault lines all over the place, not just the major plate intersections.
