I know that it used to be Richmond Daewoo, but has anyone gone there and bought something? I'm assuming they're super shady considering the cars and price. I am curious on how the cars are tho.

the only way to find out is pick the car you want....bring it to your mechanic and have a 150 point inspection done.

i believe (correct me if wrong) there was a thread about that dealer awhile ago.
if memory serves me right, many people said it was shady?
but ya get it checked, carfax etc. shady dealer does not cecessarily mean shady car
old owner or manager or something is now in jail. something along those lines
it's "under new management" now

Yeah, I'll be getting a pre-purchase inspection regardess with a dealer. Im just curious on how they get their cars and why some of them are inexpensive. I can only find one review online and it was for "Richmond Daewoo"

most of their cars are from US and have accident history. make sure you do your research

^is that before the new management or after? and do you actually know if the management did indeed change hands or is SCC just putting up that banner to attract potential buyers

There's ways dealers/sellers can hide accident history if its imported from the US.
I would just recommend to not be cheap and play it safe, pay for BCAA to come do a 150 point inspection as Soltaa has mentioned.

Hey everyone, I swung by SCC today. The cars there are crap, just like their salesmen. Apparently new brakes and tires mean....
Front brakes: 60% worn
Rear brakes: 70% worn
Front tires: 70% worn
Rear tires: 40% worn

In my opinion, management did change but if i got thrown in jail i could just hand the business off to a friend of mine who does business the same way, he could slap on an 'under new management' banner and it'd be legitamate
Just thread carefully
