They will obviously give you less than if you were to do a private sale but i guess you save on the hassle of the private sale.

You also have to book in your machine for diagnostics for the value to be determined. The diagnostics cost $54.88 which will go towards your new computer. If you are not happy with the value they offer you, they still take the $54.88 so the technician still gets paid for his time.
