Anyone want to recommand me a good reliable company that can host a word press website and provide email services?
I've used netfirms.ca but they are problematic and lately has shrunk my email from unlimited space to 250mb.
I check out go daddy's economy pacakage and the email space is even smaller at 100mb.
Which company should i go with that can serve my domain and hosting and email all in one with a good rate

I use godaddy and it's slow as f**k. Just a recommendation if you aren't going to be very business orientated. I forward all my @domain emails to my gmail account to manage. I find that this is much easier than hosting my stuff. I also like the gmail integration with my iphone, android tablet and computers. The biggest downside is while you can send out as your @domain alias some email programs (outlook) will pick up your address as: bob@gmail.com on behalf of yourrealdomain.com which looks kinda dumb.

You should be able to configure gmail to actually send via the proper domain so that outlook will read it as your domain, instead of gmail.

What do you mean by slow?,, you mean your website loads up really slow or checking email is slow? I want my webpage to be as professional as possibe.
I will not forward my emails and reply it on the phone as I will always have a laptop with me.

I'm just getting into webhosting and such as well too.
Remember to separate your host from your domain name registar. Alot of hosters provide FREE domain names, but dont take it. In case your relationship with the hoster ever goes south, they will screw you over the domain name
I'm about to use speedy sparrow. Good reviews on webhostingtalk.com forum

Thanks for this tip. Stablehost seemed to be the best price I could find. They have a great control panel, too. I got in on the 50% promo, so this first year is $22.

I've been using Register Domain, .ca Domain, Domain Registration Canada, Canadian Domain, Web Hosting Canada, Canadian Hosting (http://namespro.ca) for all of my .ca domains. I haven't had any problems with the domains so far and their support is top notch when you need it. I think they're still a Vancouver based company.
For my hosting I use Home | Dave's Network (http://davesnetwork.ca) I started out with his free hosting for RFD but I upgraded to his paid service. His hosting is pretty fast and I haven't had any problems with it so far. He is also usually on MSN and you can contact him directly if you need any support which is also great. He replies to the emails pretty fast too.
I've been using hosterbox.com. super cheap at 1.50$/mo on a yearly term. The reps are great; they credited me one year because I had some issue with connecting my netfirms domain to the host.
I host 1 wordpress blog, 1 landing page and 1 website. I've seen the website down once and that was it. WP was easy to install (rep walked me through the process), though WP itself is a bit slow sometimes. It does the job for the price though. I would recommend it.

+1 for Namespro. I use them to register my domain names as well. Bonus that they're local too.

Never use GoDaddy! They may be a cheap option but servers are horrible.

i think its ok to use godaddy since they have some good promo at times. and then transfer the domain to namecheap or something. i personally use namecheap for domain and only heard good things about them so far.
a lot of users transferred to namecheap when godaddy supported sopa.
