| Bi-Fold Door Tract Knob *Urgent*
I know this probably isnt the right place to post for help but the section gets the most traffic and it is urgent. I am moving out soon and my townhouse has a $800 dollar deposit fee for damages (even really minor ones).
Basically, the knobs (or whatever they are called) that keep a bi-fold door sliding along the tract has been broken because I pulled the door too hard. It is made of plastic and I have been to home depot and accurate door and they said they are of no help because they can't find the right knob thingys.
If anybody could help me please hook up some advice please!
Thank you

A bi fold door plastic piece? A knob?
The terms don't jive, man. Are you talking about sliders?
The pegs?

i'm not sure if this is dependent on your landlord, but if you can't find it and if they DO notice it, wouldn't they just take the cost of replacing that peg out of your damage deposit and give the rest back?
or i guess on the flip side they can be douches and replace the entire door and fuck you over like that.

Keep in mind, every Home Depot carries different products, call the mill work departments of the stores outside the centre of Vancouver and describe what you need, they should have it...

home depot has it, it's in the tool section with all the door handles and hinges. They have a whole rack full of closet accessories. Take a plier or use your fingers and try to pull the broken one out or even pull the good one out. Take it to home depot and find the same part. you can even buy a metal one if they don't have a plastic one. It's the same thing as long as you find the right size.
