Hi guys,

With the success of the meet Kelv and the others put on last nite, lets get a weekly meet going till the end of summer! Just a casual night of car enthusiasts getting together and hanging out and chit chatting. What's nice about last night is that some of the Revscene mods came out too as well as some of the guys from The Speed Syndicate, Blackmarkers, and Rise. I'd like to encourage other shops to come and hang out too! I propose meeting at Market Crossing since everyone knows where it is at Marine and Byrne outside the Mcdonalds/Canadian Tire side. Also its a good opportunity to bring your cameras out! We have a lot of guys that are into photography so its nice to share tips/advice with each other

Etiquette: Drive safely to and from these meets. I'd like everyone to be responsible drivers, we're still at a public location and there IS usually a police presence around. Also please leave ego's at home, lets make new friends and enjoy being car enthusiasts.

*Anyone behaving like a jackass will be public shamed on RS and will not be welcomed at future meets*

I counted 70 cars when we had this on Wednesday, with plenty of room to fit another 200. It's a fairly large parking lot so no worries, we should be good for space especially at the time this meet is happening at. All the stores around that area other then Tim Hortons and Mcdonalds are closed.

you did nothing wrong man, no need to feel bad at all. that's just the way some of them are over there. the large majority of them appreciate RS meets and what this forum has to offer.

it's a little more disappointing that one admin over there is not concerned at all what he's doing for the reputation of VCC between clubs and to the general public.

EXACTLY! I've been saying this for 20+ years. It works the other way too. I went to Langley last night where all the old hot rod and muscle car guys hang out. I was the only 'newer' car there with my 350Z. I was expecting a lot of hating but honestly I had a lot of guys coming over to take a look at it and hear my stereo and look at my mods. I had a lot of respect from these guys and in return, I wasn't cocky and gave props to the other cars where it was due. Had a great time and enjoyed all of the 'enthusiasts' positive comments. :)

It's slowly moving up, but past 140th is pretty bad right now. 112th is faster because you skip all the lights on King George past 108th.

I just got home. Yea there were some REALLY LOUD sound systems. My ears hurt as well. I'm not a fan of loud music but to each their own I guess?
Anyways, I had a blast. Around 150 cars. So much fun meeting new people and seeing some familiar faces from past meets. I snapped a few photos. Where is the official picture thread? :)
