Car door lock buzzing

My car passenger door lock buzzes when it locks. Anyone know why? Is it the actualator?

yes 90% chance its the actuator

Sometimes actuator motors 'burn out' or the internal gears get old and stripped which makes that annoying buzzing sound. We (or any other sponsor) can replace that actuator for you for a reasonable charge.

yup actuator is dying a very painfull death
